Alba A-Glowing

Jessica Alba – seen as one of Hollywood’s most beautiful actresses – still looks stunning even with her bulging baby look.  Indeed, in her Jay Leno interview on The Tonight Show,  she spoke about the pregnancy as well as her upcoming film Spy Kids: All The Time In The World.

Alba was definitely wearing the right clothes for her newly-formed figure.  The dress was full-length with an empire line, and she looked radiant as, according to the Google news article she “giggled her way through the light hearted interview with Jay, whose other guests included sexpert Sue Johanson and Justin Bieber’s girlfriend Selena Gomez.”

Pregnancy Queries

Alba had fun with Johanson, asking if having sex in such a late stage of the pregnancy could be problematic for the baby, but the latter assured her it was perfectly fine.  She didn’t reveal the baby’s due date or gender, avoiding the first question by saying it was “soon,” and  not making any reference to the baby’s sex.

Time for Honor

Alba is now making special efforts to spend extra time with Honor, her three-year-old daughter in an attempt to “ensure that she doesn’t feel left out amidst the baby buzz.”  She made a fuss of her birthday “escorting her around New York dressed adorable in a purple princess outfit.”  With her husband Cash Warren, the three of them are engaging in fun, low-key family activities.

Optical Illusion Sidewalk Art

This is a photo of a sidewalk chalk drawing by Francois Abenalet in Paris. It is unique in that it incorporates the grass and trees already present in the area, creating a spherical impression that distorts reality and the laws of physics.

The drawing is a perfect example of anamorphosis; which is a convoluted image that can be understood or seen “correctly” only from a specific angle.

Vigo Gum May Improve Health (And Complexion)

A new chewing gum, developed in Sweden, claims to provide vitamins which will strengthen your hair, nails and skin, possibly improving the chewer’s appearance.

The gum, called Vigo, has sparked controversy with its tagline “Spry, Pretty or Clever- Chew the Gum that Suits You,” which is said to be misleading. However, Antula Healthcare, the manufacturer, defended the product stating that it was approved by the European Food Safety Authority. A spokeswoman added: “We are not saying that you will look better but that you will maintain a healthy complexion.”

Pharmacies and supermarkets have begun to sell the gum, which is rich in vitamins A, B1, B6, B12, C, Beta Carotene and Selenium. The product comes in flavors ‘Beauty,’ ‘Focus’ and ‘Active.’

Certainly, it is important to maintain a healthy, balanced diet despite the gum.

Katharine McPhee Appears on ‘The Voice’

Fans of The Voice were undoubtedly excited by American Idol Season 5 runner-up’s visit to the set this past Tuesday. Katharine McPhee spoke about her new TV show called ‘Smash.’ In the new musical drama, which will be aired on NBC, McPhee will star alongside Debra Messing and Jack Davenport. She will also be doing her own version of The Voice judge Christina Aguilera’s ‘Beautiful.’

Versace Opens “Affordable” Collection with H&M

Versace, one of the leading fashion designers in the world, has announced its new “affordable range” collection prepared together with H&M. The collection was designed by Donatella Versace herself, and was created with the same “vibrant heritage” of the Versace brand.
