FORMS OF PAYMENT
At Niftythreads, we’re all about making life easier for you.
We scour the nation for the best thrift and vintage clothing, so
you can sit and home, browsing the site, snagging the coolest of
the cool. And by the way, our taste in fashion is impeccable –
what you see here is what you’re likely to see 6 months from
now on the cutting edge. We’re way ahead of the game, baby.
So how do you pay for your Nifty treasures? We’ve made that
easy for you, too. Here’s the run-down:
1. Credit Cards and Debit Cards
This is the quickest and easiest way to pay. You can use credit
cards or debit cards issued from just about any country in the world.
Niftythreads receives your order and processes it for shipping within
48 hours. Our site instantly logs your order and removes your selected
item(s) from the inventory list – so you’re truly the
owner of your Nifty gear right away!
2. Cash/Money Order/Cashier’s check
If you don’t have a credit card, you can send cash, money
order, or cashier’s check to purchase your items. However,
you must follow the steps below to assure that we track your order
correctly. If you’re using one of these forms of payment,
do the following:
1. Email us at info@niftythreads.com
and tell us what items you’re interested in purchasing. We
will respond, confirming the availability of the items and telling
you the total purchase price. (The total purchase price will include
shipping charges).
2. After you receive our email stating the total purchase price,
you must email us, indicating that you are sending payment. We will
then “hide” the items you want to buy from the website,
assuring that nobody else can buy your one-of-a-kind Niftythreads
items. We will keep these items hidden for 7 days as we await the
arrival of your payment.
3. Send your payment to the address we provide, along with your
return shipping address. Make sure you include this information
so we can process your order quickly upon receipt of your payment.
We must receive your payment within 7 days or we will “unhide”
your items and make them available to other Niftythreads users.
4. Once we receive your payment, we will promptly process it for
shipping and you’ll be looking Niftier than ever.
3. Personal Check
Niftythreads will accept a personal check as your form of payment.
Please follow the steps listed in 2. above. When we receive your
check we will deposit it and wait for it to clear prior to shipping
your item. We will advise you via email that we have received the
check, and we will email you when your item has shipped.
SHIPPING
For U.S. transactions, you can view the Niftythreads shipping rates
and information at http://www.niftythreads.com/policies.html.
For INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, we charge actual rates for parcel post
charged by the U.S. Postal Service. When we process your order,
we will charge you regular U.S. shipping costs – then, after
we have shipped your item to its international destination, we will
charge your card again for the difference in price.
For example, if you live in Great Britain and you order an item
costing 18.50, we will add $5.50 to the price of your order for
shipping (our standard U.S. rate). Then, after we have shipped your
item to you (let’s say that the actual cost was $9.00), we
will charge your card an additional $3.50, representing the difference
in price.
Keep in mind, Niftythreads never inflates the cost of shipping,
and we certainly don’t charge a “handling” fee,
like many sites do. We just get the item to you as quickly and inexpensively
as possible.
